Webinar – Divest & Reinvest Now – Addressing Investment Considerations

Monday, Sept. 16; 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET

When people think about fossil fuel divestment and reinvestment in a clean energy future, they often feel daunted on how to proceed.

But – a growing number of investment professionals offer attractive clean energy opportunities for institutional investors – such as religious endowments and pension funds.

Click here to register for a webinar that will help you learn more.

On this webinar, two experienced investment professionals will share research on the financial impact of fossil fuel divestment and about opportunities for investing in a clean energy future.  They can help managers of religious portfolios understand how to approach divestment and reinvestment.

Tom Van Dyck, Senior Vice President at RBC Wealth Management’s Socially Responsible Investing Management Group, is a leader in the fields of socially-responsible and clean technology investing.  He has encouraged major pension funds to consider issues such as divestment from South Africa and environmental investment strategies, and is the founder of As You Sow, a leading shareholder advocacy foundation.

Leslie Samuelrich is Senior Vice President at Green Century Capital Management.  She co-manages the environmentally responsible financial advisory firm, including assessing the Funds’ investment strategies and managers.  She also oversees Green Century’s marketing and shareholder advocacy programs.  Leslie serves on the Advisory Board for the Business Ethics Network and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College.

This webinar is a must for managers of religious pension, endowment and investment funds, and for trustees of these funds.  Participants will be able to pose questions to the two speakers.
