Crisanta Perez, Maya Mam woman from San Marcos, Guatemala. Arrested and charged in 2008 for defending the land from Goldcorp.
Annie Clair, Mi’kmaq mother and grandmother from Elsipogtog. Arrested and charged for defending Mi’kmaq territory from shale gas in 2013. Annie will be going to court in September.
Ron Tremblay, Wolastoq Grand Council. Arrested for standing in solidarity with Mi’kmaq people defending their territory from shale gas in 2013.
