Crisanta Perez has been courageously working to defend her community for close to a decade from potential harms presented by the Marlin Mine. The Maya Mam activist, community leader and mother has been attacked for her work; she’s been criminalized and harassed. And she continues on, defending life and the land that she calls Mother. She joined us at the BTS annual gathering June 12-14, 2015. See her itinerary here.
