A Day Spent With Mother Earth
Today started off with an omelette español and watermelon juice for breakfast, it was delicious! Then off we went to IMAP.

What an amazing day today was, so much learning & so many fun tips and tricks to take back home. We learnt about our Nawales, our energies, the 4 main elements (fire, water, earth, and air) which allows us stability and futher discussed other elements such as different seasons and moons and how everything relates to one another.

We toured around the IMAP grounds, learning about how they recycle their waste and their grey water. They have the most pure system I have ever seen as they recycle everything. We got to do some hands on learning by soil prepping. We mixed the soil with some molasses and water to help it add nutrients to the soil, then we replanted some seedlings and planted some seeds. At IMAP when planting seeds they plant 4 seeds in the each hole, one for Mother Earth, one for your neighbours, the animals and finally one for yourself.

IMAPs bathroom facilities were definitely unique, after climbing up a set of stairs made from tires, you do what needs to be done then put some sawdust on it, after a very long process that waste turns into compost. They really put everything to use, the grounds were pure, the surrounding air was just as pure, it was a beautiful day!

Guatemala will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I hope to one day return!
