Join us for a series of public events across the Maritimes with Miguel Ángel Gálvez, a former judge in Guatemala’s High Risk Court. Judge Gálvez presided over the Court for more than a decade, handling landmark cases involving corruption, impunity, and grave human rights violations before threats and persecution forced him into exile. He will share his reflections on the ongoing struggle for justice and democracy in Guatemala.
